Big Future Plans

 New ships have positioned Oceania into the luxury
market. The Oceania Sonata (rendering) debuts in 2027.

“ With the way the luxury market has
expanded over the last 20 years, we’re
perfectly situated,” said Jason Montague,

chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises
and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

he two brands under the Norwegian Cruise Line Hold-
Tings umbrella have a combined nine ships on order,
and Montague said the brands were capitalizing on wealth
share with guests looking to spend more on experiences than
physical goods.
Having been part of the start up of Oceania, Montague
worked his way up to become the president of the Regent
brand before leaving in 2022 and rejoining as chief luxury
officer last year. He has since transitioned the Oceania brand
 Jason from the premium space to luxury.
