MSC Sponsoring Brazil v. Italy Match

MSC Cruises will sponsor a match between football legends Brazil and Italy on March 21 in Geneva, Switzerland, home of the MSC Cruises Corporate Headquarters. The friendly match, which will be held in Stade de Genève, comes ahead of the teams’ competitive clash in the FIFA Confederations Cup this summer.

As an official match sponsor, MSC Cruises will invite special guests, travel agents and partners, principally from Italy and Brazil, two of the company’s major markets.

The company will also partner with Radio One FM, offering a 7-night cruise in the Mediterranean on board MSC Splendida for the lucky winner of a radio competition which will start on Monday March 11.

During the match, the company logo will be displayed on match tickets, on the advertising system around the pitch, on the front and back of the referee’s board and on large supporter banners. A ‘walk about’ behind the scenes of the Stade de Genève as well as in the so called ‘mixed zone’ will also be organized for MSC Cruises’ special guests.

Organizers expect over 25 million television viewers around the world to tune in to watch the match.

Just two days after the match, MSC Cruises will celebrate the arrival of the latest in the MSC Cruises fleet, MSC Preziosa, who will be will be christened in a glittering ceremony by international screen legend Sophia Loren.
