Princess, Jakarta Agents Combine for Cooking Challenge

Princess Cruises held a cooking challenge for travel agents in Jakarta as part of its relationship building program with the local travel agent community, according to a press release.

Over 50 agents attended the event designed to strengthen relationships, reward agents and generate excitement and fun, said Princess

“Travel agents provide valuable services to our guests and remain the mainstay of our business. Instead of holding the usual new itineraries’ launch, we decided to add a cooking challenge which gave us a fun way to interact and communicate with attendees. The session proved to be an extremely enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone and was a great way to enhance team building among our valued agents,” said Farriek Tawfik, Director of Southeast Asia Princess Cruises.

Attendees were grouped into teams to prepare a simple four-course meal under two hours. All teams needed to work together, communicate and coordinate effectively to complete the dishes in time. Following the challenge, everyone came together to enjoy the meal they had cooked.

“Travel agents provide great support helping our guests plan their cruise, and we will continue to build strong relationships with the travel agent community to ensure an exceptional guest experience,” Tawfik added.
