Louis Announces New Ionian, Adriatic, and Dalmation Coast Destinations

Louis Cruises today announced it will add 12 new Ionian, Adriatic and Dalmatian Coastports of call to its 2015 itineraries.

This follows the addition, in 2014, of nine new “Idyllic” Aegean destinations: Chios, Ios, Kos, Milos, Samos, Symi, Syros and the “Turkish Riviera” ports of Bodrum and Cesme, to which Louis Cruises will return in 2015 (with the exception of Bodrum).

Louis Cruises is committed to adding new, unique destinations to its ports of call every year, and the 2015 itineraries were developed after extensive market research.

The Louis Cristal will be deployed on new 7 Day cruises beginning in October of 2015:

•  “Peloponnese and Ionian Sea,” departs from Lavrion (Athens) on Friday, October 9th, calling at Nafplio, Monemvasia, Kalamata, Katakolo and Igoumenitsa, Greece and at AgioiSaranta, Albania and Bari, Italy.

•  “Idyllic Ionian Sea and Adriatic” sails from Bari, Italy on Friday, October 16th, with stops at Dubrovnik, Croatia, Kotor, Montenegro, Agioi Saranta, Albania and Patras, Cephalonia and Corfu, Greece, before returning to Bari.

•  “Ionian Sea and Peloponnese” departs from Bari, Italy on Friday, October 23rd, and calls at Agioi Saranta, Albania, and Igoumenitsa, Katakolo, Kalamata, Monemvasia and Nafplio, Greece, before concluding in Lavrion.

The Louis Cristal will also be deployed from Lavrion on the classic 7 Day “Iconic Aegean” Cruise every Friday in May, June and September, and on October 2nd. This cruise calls at the Turkish ports of Istanbul and Kusadasi (Ancient Ephesus) and at Aegean jewels Santorini, Crete, Rhodes, Symi, Chios and Mykonos. Passengers can also choose to embark or disembark at or from Istanbul, Kusadasi, Rhodes, Crete and Mykonos.

Louis Cruises’ famed 7 Day Pilgrimage Cruise, which follows the path of St. Paul, returns in 2015 on the 30th of October, when the Louis Cristal sails from Lavrion for Thessaloniki and Kavala, Greece. From Kavala the Louis Cristal sails to Istanbul, Dikili and Kusadasi (Ancient Ephesus), Turkey, then returns to Greece for stops at the holy island of Patmos, and at Syros, before its passengers disembark in Lavrion.

Louis Cruises has also added a new special cruise for 2015, the 7 Day ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) “Centenary Inauguration” cruise. The Louis Cristal will sail from Lavrion on April 17th (passengers can also embark from Istanbul on the following day) and call at Istanbul, Limnos Myrina (Greece), Mitilini (Greece) and at Canakkale, Turkey, before returning to Istanbul.
