The free app is designed to put a wealth of cruise-related information at the user’s fingertips. The Cruise.com app is available now for download in the iPhone App Store and in the Android Marketplace and can be also be downloaded at www.cruise.com.

Cruise.com’s new mobile app offers a variety of features that cruise enthusiasts can access including options to help them book and prepare for their cruise. People who have booked with Cruise.com will also have the ability to save information specific to the cruise that they have booked right to their phone.

In addition to the ability to book a cruise and find the best cruise deals, users will be able to access information about all of the cruise ships, including ship profiles, deck plans, dining information and public areas. The app also includes Cruise Tips, FAQs, and packing lists. Guests who have booked with Cruise.com will be able to automatically save their specific cruise departure to their phone to quickly and easily access all of the features contained in the app including a Cruise Countdown and departure port information. The departure port information provides directions to the port, allows users to map the port on their phone and learn local information about their departure port.

Additional functionality also includes the ability to connect with Cruise.com via phone, email, Facebook and Twitter. For additional research the new app will also link to Cruise.com’s website and blog.
