SuperStar Aquarius Passengers in Hainan Set Sail to Vietnam with Ease Print
Tuesday, 31 January 2012

Hainan residents will soon be able to cruise with greater ease onboard SuperStar Aquarius to visit popular tourist destinations Danang and Halong Bay in Vietnam. Starting from Feb 6, Hainan residents with valid ID card can simply apply for the Cross Border Pass and take the vessel’s three-day/two-night voyages: Sanya-Halong Bay and Sanya-Danang itineraries.

The new entry arrangement with the Chinese and Vietnamese authorities adds convenience to passengers to enjoy Sanya’s beach paradise, Halong Bay’s awe-inspiring limestone karsts & islands, and Danang’s historical & heritage sites.

Since its seasonal deployment to Sanya last November, SuperStar Aquarius has been offering a variety of onboard dining and entertainment especially adapted to the holiday preferences of Chinese tourists. The vessel features 765 cabins of different categories, a host of dining, recreation, shopping and entertainment options complemented with a vibrant and friendly international crew.

The new entry arrangement is expected to boost Hainan’s local cruise economy and related businesses and enhance Hainan’s competitiveness as an international tourist destination.
Hainan residents should take advantage of this opportunity to cruise with SuperStar Aquarius with the simple Cross Border Pass application before the vessel returns to Taiwan on 1 April.
