The former Oceana has been sitting in limbo since being
sold by P&O Cruises in mid-2020. Acquired by Greece-
based Seajets, the 1999-built ship was renamed Queen
of the Oceans but has spent the last five years docked in
Greece.
Aegean Majesty (ex-Veendam)
Last Operator: Holland America Line
Year Built: 1996
Capacity: 1,350 guests
Tonnage: 55,819
Location: Greece
Originally built for Holland America Line, the former
Veendam has remained out of service since being
acquired by Greek ferry operator Seajets. Now named
Aegean Majesty, the 1,350-guest vessel has been sitting
in Greece since 2020.
Goddess of the Night (ex-Costa Magica)
Last Operator: Costa Cruises
Year Built: 2004
Capacity: 2,720 guests
Tonnage: 103,000
Location: Greece
Another ship acquired by Seajets, the former Costa
Magica is also sitting unused in Greece. The operator
announced plans to launch a new cruise operation in the
Greek Islands using the 2,720-guest ship, but the project
seems to have been put on a permanent pause.
