MHG Medical Consulting, part of the MHG group, providing medical consulting services to the maritime industry, announced that the company has changed its name to MHG Medical Management Services, LLC.

MHG Medical Consulting Services, Inc was launched in November 2010 with a defined service model, created to meet the demands of specific clients. However, with increasing regulatory requirements, the demand for maritime medical expertise has increased significantly and as a result, MHG Medical has continued to shape its service offerings to meet the growing needs of its clients.

With theconsiderably expanded range of services, the original name no longer fully reflected the company’s capabilities and it was felt that a name change was in order.

“With MHG Medical’s combined maritime medical experience and superior services, we are increasingly being asked to provide a more comprehensive management service to our expanding client base” said Peter Hult, President of MHG Medical Management.

“In addition to our consulting services, MHG Medical is able to provide full or partial medical management services, customized to our clients’ needs. We feel that our new name better reflects that capability”.
