Disney to Galveston and Canada/New England in 2012

The Disney Wonder in LA

According to reports, Disney Cruise Line will soon confirm that the Disney Magic will be based in Galveston for Fall 2012, sailing seven-night cruises through December, along with a Canada/New England deployment from New York.

While Disney’s newbuilds, the Dream and Fantasy, have confirmed itineraries out of Port Canaveral through Sept. 2012, questions loom over where the Magic and Wonder will go.

The Wonder is sailing on the West Coast this year, to the Mexican Riviera out of Los Angeles this spring and then to Alaska out of Vancouver for the summer, before heading back to Los Angeles through April 2012.

The Magic meanwhile, will spend summer 2011 in Europe, repositioning to the Caribbean alongside the Dream for the winter season.

Disney has not announced a 2012 program for the Magic following winter 2011/2012.
