Carnival Launches Online Store

Carnival Cruise Line has launched an online retail store (shop.carnival.com), where fans can purchase exclusive Carnival merchandise and have it delivered, according to a press release.

The site follows the recent rollout of new Carnival-inspired logo items via the line’s social media channels, which have been very well received with some products selling out in a matter of days,  according to William Butler, vice president of retail services for Carnival Cruise Line.

“This is the first time our fans can access and order all of our latest and greatest designs at their fingertips any time and have them shipped directly to their home. And just in time for the holidays, our easy one-stop online shop now includes a special line of holiday favorites with a Carnival spin to help guests Choose Fun all season long.”

In addition to the site’s initial assortment of products for children, home decorating and traveling, the new holiday collection features several exclusive items including everything from ornament sets and ship-shaped cookie cutters to Carnival’s playful take on the ugly holiday sweaters and a waterproof ship-shaped floating Bluetooth speaker with LED lights.

Who better to help design the fun holiday collection than Carnival’s own Brand Ambassador John Heald In celebration of the new collection and John’s role in helping bring it to life, there are two special bundles, as well, including John Heald’s Favorites – a tropical-inspired grey holiday sweater, set of three ornaments, cookie cutters and one-of-a-kind John Heald gift wrap; and the Ultimate Holiday Pack – an “All I Want for Xmas is a Carnival Cruise” green holiday sweater, set of three ornaments and a Bluetooth ship speaker.

“I’ve had many roles at Carnival over the years, but being a co-designer for the new holiday collection – and a model might I add – has been a lovely first,” said Heald. “Did I mention my face is on wrapping paper? It doesn’t get jollier than that, my friends!”
