Victory Cruise Lines 2020 Itineraries Released

Victory Cruise Lines today announced new deployment for the 202-guest Victory I and II ships, announcing cruises to Costa Rica, Panama, the Yucatán Peninsula and the Southeast U.S for the 2020 cruise season.

As part of its Discover Beyond itineraries, the cruise line operated by American Queen Steamboat Company offers nine- and 15-day voyages to the American Southeast, a nine-day roundtrip to Cancun and the Yucatán peninsula, a 10-day cruise to Yucatán Peninsula and Panama, and two nine-day cruises to Costa Rica and Panama.

“Following the success of Victory Cruise Lines’ inaugural year on the Great Lakes, we knew guests had an appetite for small-ship, discovery-designed cruises in the Caribbean and Central America,” said John Waggoner, founder and CEO of American Queen Steamboat Company. “As we expand our itineraries, we will continue delivering the immersive shore excursions and customer service Victory Cruise Lines is known for,” he added.

During the nine-day American Southeast cruise, guests will explore the region and its architecture and history on the Victory I, as they sail from Jacksonville, Florida to Freeport, Grand Bahama. Departures are scheduled for April 5; November 15, 29; December 13; Reverse sailings depart March 29; November 8, 22 and December 6. Rates start at $2,699.

The 15-day cruise to the American Southeast, also on the Victory I, leaves on April 14 and makes its way between Grand Bahama and, New York. Ports of call include Freeport, Grand Bahama with a pre-voyage stay; Port Canaveral, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, Wilmington, Norfolk, Baltimore/Annapolis and New York. Rates start at $4,999.

The Victory II will sail to the Yucatán Peninsula during a nine-day roundtrip cruise from Cancun, leaving on November 14, 21 and 28. Guests will also explore the Mayan cities of Tulum and Chichén Itzá, and ports of call include Puerto Morales, Progreso and Campeche. Rates start at $2,999.

A 10-day cruise to the Yucatán Peninsula and Panama, leaving on December 5, will tour some of Central America’s most beautiful and culturally rich destinations, the company said. The M/V Victory will call at Cancun, Costa Maya, Belize City, Roatán, San Andrés, Limón and Panama City/Colón. Rates start at $3,499.

On December 13 the Victory II will start a nine-day cruise from Costa Rica to Panama, calling at the quaint coastal towns of Quepos and Puntarenas. Rates start at $2,999, while on December 20 the Victory II will sail from San José to Panama City on a nine-day cruise, with the reverse sailing on December 27.
