Carnival Cruise Line is nine cruises that were scheduled to take place onboard the Carnival Jubilee between August and December 2027.

According to a statement sent to booked guests, the cruises will no longer go ahead due to revised operational plans.

Affected sailings include the Aug. 15, 21 and 29, 2027 cruises, as well as the Sept. 12, 18 and 26, 2027 departures. The cruises scheduled to sail on Nov. 7, 2027, and Dec. 5 and 11, 2027, were also cancelled.

Sailing from its homeport in Galveston, the LNG-powered vessel was scheduled to offer six- to eight-night itineraries to the Western Caribbean and the Bahamas.

“We have revised operational plans for the Carnival Jubilee and, unfortunately, your cruise has been cancelled,” Carnival stated.

The company noted it is offering a “variety of alternative Carnival sailings,” adding that its team is available to assist guests who wish to rebook.

Carnival said that passengers will have their current cruise rate protected when booking a comparable sailing in similar accommodations.

Guests will also receive a $50 per person onboard credit for these new reservations, with a maximum of $100 per stateroom.

Passengers also have the option of cancelling their bookings for a full refund of their cruise fares and any pre-purchased items and services.

“We sincerely apologize for this change and thank you for your understanding,” Carnival added in its statement.

Sailing year-round from Texas, the Carnival Jubilee is currently offering seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean departing from the Port of Galveston.

The itineraries feature visits to destinations in Mexico and Honduras, including Costa Maya, Cozumel and Carnival’s Isla Tropicale in Roatán.

Starting this September, the 5,400-passenger vessel is scheduled to offer more varied itineraries, with six- to eight-night cruises that also sail to the Bahamas.

The new schedule is highlighted by visits to Carnival’s private destinations in the Bahamas, including RelaxAway Half Moon Cay and Celebration Key.
