Zen Cruises Launches Jalesh with First Sailing in April from Mumbai

Zen Cruises and Essel Group have confirmed that Jalesh Cruises will launch service for the Indian market with a first sailing from Mumbai in April of 2019, with bookings now open in both the Indian and international markets. 

Jalesh Cruises, meaning "Lord of Water" is designed to offer a rich experience of Indian culture, hospitality and food to domestic and international travelers, the company said.

Bailom added: “Zen Cruises wants to grow the cruise market as a whole in India.  Our aim is to touch, delight and fulfil the lives of a million Indians and make them travel worldwide by 2025.” 

Port calls in India include Chennai, Kochi, Mormugoa, Mumbai, Vizag and international locations including Abu Dhabi, Colombo, Dubai, Muscat, Penang, Ras Al Khaimah and Singapore.

Onboard Jalesh Cruises, passengers will be delighted with Broadway shows, plays, magic shows, live music concerts, dance shows, shopping and a host of other entertaining shows.

The ship, the Karnika, will be converted from the Pacific Jewel in March and offer multiple alternative dining options, the company said.
