Premier to Acquire Home Lines’ Oceanic

Home Lines’ Oceanic, according to a spokesperson for Premier. An official statement from the Greyhound Corporation, the company that owns Premier, is expected to be made soon.

The 39.241-ton vessel will be refurbished at the Norfolk Shipping and Drydock Company in Virginia. She is scheduled to enter the 3- and 4-day Bahamas cruise market, from Port Canaveral in early to mid-1986, although final itineraries have not yet been set.

The Oceanic Starship will be based in Port Canaveral with Premier’s Royale, and Seaescape’s Scandinavian Sky.
