The FTI Group has named Peter Gerhard Muller managing director of FTI Cruises Hellas, the operating company for FTI Cruises and its ship, the Berlin.

The company also announced that Julie Decker Hoener has been named director of product and operations, and Romana Calvetti the new cruise director aboard the Berlin.

Gerhard Mueller has many years of industry experience, including having sailed as captain. He was most recently CEO at KD Bereederung, operating such vessels as the Astor of Transocean.

Reporting to FTI Group CCO Ralph Schiller, Gerhard Muller will be responsible for marine and hotel operations.

Decker Hoener previously worked for Transocean Cruises and for the past two-and-a-half years was head of product management at KD.

Calvetti has worked on various ships since 2001. She is a former opera singer and was employed as cruise director on the Astor for the past two years.
