Louis Cuba Charter Not Happening

As reported by Cruise Industry News earlier this year, Louis Cruises’ Cristal was set to spend the winter in Cuba under charter to a Canadian company. However, the charter will no longer be taking place, according to the company.

A Louis spokesperson added that the company had discussed the possibility of a charter but had never finalized the deal.

“We will be discussing with them the possibility of the charter for next year,” said the spokesperson. “Our MV Louis Cristal was not scheduled to operate cruises this winter and will undergo her annual dry-docking so as to have her ready in March for the 2012 new season out of Piraeus. “
