Louis Cruises will have a ship in the Caribbean this coming winter as the 1,200-passenger Cristal will homeport in Cuba, sailing roundtrip week-long itineraries from Havana calling in Cayo Guillermo, Bahia de Nipe, Santiago de Cuba, Cayo Los Caguamas, Cienfuegos, and Punta Frances.
Louis Group had not yet announced deployment for the Cristal, and last week confirmed to Cruise Industry News the Majesty would drydock in lieu of a winter season in the Mediterranean.
The Cristal is scheduled to sail around Cuba from December 4, 2011 through March 12, 2012, which amounts to 16 cruises.
Prices start at $586 per passenger, for a standard inside stateroom.
