IST Launches New Cruise Booking Engine

Cruise BrowserIST showcased its new cruise booking engine, Cruise Browser, at FITUR.

It is “a web solution that allows the travel agent to book any of 14,000 cruises, run by 30 different cruise lines, in a simple three step process, in addition to providing extensive descriptive content,” said Manuel Sardi, CEO of IST.

“Cruise Browser offers all travel agents the opportunity to immediately implement a cruise booking engine on their own website without any need for investment in IT development,” Sardi said.

Sardi also pointed out that the new online solution includes several plug-ins that permit the travel agent a greater degree of personalization and enables them to scale it to the needs of their business.

“The travel agent can visualize platform statistics in order to analyze user behavior, develop individual promotions, and adapt the look and feel of the engine to their own brand image, in addition to many other options. In short, it provides the travel agent with an additional, new marketing tool,” Sardi continued.

Cruise Browser is an off the shelf solution that also includes extensive descriptive content to “help the user book his or her cruise and allow the travel agent to automate its sales channel in the most intuitive way,” Sardi explained.
