Holland America's Nieuw Amsterdam made its first call to San Francisco on Friday, October 7, with Holland America Group CEO Stein Kruse on the scene in San Francisco. 

The ship berthed at the James R. Herman Cruise Terminal at Pier 27, on her way from Vancouver, Canada, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a 19-night Panama Canal cruise (October 4-23, 2016).
