Mein Schiff 2

Mein Schiff 2

The Mein Schiff 2 was built in 1997 by the German shipyard Meyer Werft.

She was ordered by Celebrity Cruises, who operated her as the Mercury until February 2011. After an extensive refit, the ship entered service for TUI Cruises, with its current name, in May of 2011.

Part of the Century-class, it has two sister ships: the Mein Schiff 1 (originally Galaxy) and the SkySea Golden Era (originally Century). It will be transferred to the Thomson Cruises fleet in 2019.
