The Oceana began life in 2000 as the Ocean Princess but was transferred to the UK market in 2002 for P&O Cruises. She is a mid-sized ship, under 80,000 tons. She is a sister ship to the Sea Princess as both vessels are Sun-class ships built by Fincantieri.
