Serenade of the Seas

Built in Germany by the Meyer Werft shipyard, the Serenade of the Seas is the third ship in the Radiance class.

The Serenade debuted on June 2003, and was christened by the American actress Whoopi Goldberg. The ship was built with a gas-turbine, with allows it to sail at higher speed and with lower emissions.

It was ordered by Royal Caribbean International on December 7, 1999 and has three sister ships: Radiance of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas and Jewel of the Seas.
