The Oasis of the Seas was delivered to Royal Caribbean International in October of 2009. The first ship in the Oasis-class, it surpassed Freedom of the Seas and became the world’s biggest cruise ship.

Designed under the name “Project Genesis”, the vessel was built in Turku, Finland, by the shipyard currently known as Meyer Turku.
