Empress of the Seas

The Empress of the Seas is the smallest ship in the Royal Caribbean International fleet. Built the early 1990s, it is a unique vessel, with no sister ships.

It entered service for the first time on June 25, 1990 as Nordic Empress. Renamed Empress of the Seas on May 2004, the ship left the Royal Caribbean fleet on March 2008.

As Empress, the ship sailed for Pullmantur, between 2008 and 2016. With Cuba in mind, the ship returned to Royal Caribbean fleet on May 2016.
