Allure of the Seas

Part of the Royal Caribbean International, the Allure of the Seas entered service in December of 2010.

She was built in Finland, by the shipyard currently known as Meyer Turku and is the second ship in the the Oasis-class.

The vessel’s name was chosen after a public contest held by Royal Caribbean on May 2008. The naming ceremony took place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and had the fictional character Princess Fiona as the ship’s godmother.
