Star Princess

Delivered on 2002, the Star Princess is the third Grand-class vessel built for Princess Cruises. It is also the second ship called Star Princess to sail for the Princess brand.

Built in Italy by the Fincantieri shipyard, the 109,000-ton ship was named by the wife of the executive president of the shipbuilder, Gunilla Antonini. The ceremony took place in the city where the ship was built: Monfalcone.

The vessel was deployed in the Mexican Riviera during its inaugural season, before cruising from Europe to America via Suez and the Pacific.
