The Emerald Princess is a Grand-class ship operating for Princess Cruises. It entered service in 2007, after being delivered by the Italian shipyard Fincantieri.

It was christened in Greece, on 13 May 2007 and sailed in the Mediterranean during its inaugural season.

Slightly bigger than the first ships of the Grand-class, it has two identical sister-ships: Ruby Princess and Crown Princess. Other eight ships share similar design and are included in this class of vessels.
