Norwegian Joy

Norwegian Joy

The Norwegian Joy is the first Norwegian Cruise Line ship tailored to the Chinese market.

It was built by the German shipyard Meyer Werft, in 2017, and is part of the Breakaway Plus-class. Resembling a phoenix-bird, the ship’s hull art is the work of Chinese Artist Tan Ping.

Soon after being delivered to the cruise line in Bremerhaven, the ship went straight to China, where it was christened and spent its inaugural season.
