Norwegian Jewel

The Norwegian Jewel is the first ship on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Jewel-class. She was followd by three sister-ships: Norwegian Jade, Norwegian Pearl and Norwegian Gem.

The vessel was built by the German shipyard Meyer Werft and entered service in 4 August 2005. Melania Trump, spouse of the U.S. President Donald Trump, served as Jewel’s godmother during the naming ceremony, which took place in Miami.

Starting in 2018, the ship will be cruising year-round in Asia, serving the Japanese market.
