Veendam

The Veendam is the last of a series of four cruise ships known as the S-class. Built for Holland America Line, she debuted on 1996.

Ships in the S-class include the Maasdam, the Pacific Aria (ex-Ryndam) and the Pacific Eden (ex-Statendam).

In 2009, the 57,000-ton ship was subject to an extensive refit that added one extra half deck of cabins to its stern. Currently, her passenger capacity is 1,350 guests.
