Costa Victoria

Costa Victoria

The Costa Victoria is the last ship built by Costa Crociere before the brand was taken over by Carnival Corporation.

A unique ship, she was built by the Bremer Vulkan shipyard and debuted on July 13, 1996 after a christening in Bremerhaven, Germany.

Costa Crociere planned a sister ship for Victoria, to be named Costa Olympia. However, while the vessel was being built the yard went bankrupt and Norwegian Cruise Line ended up buying the ship and finishing the construction process, and the vessel became what is now the Norwegian Sky.
