AIDAcara

Built at the shipyard currently known as Meyer Turku, the AIDAcara was the first AIDA ship.

She debuted on June 1996, introducing a new concept called “Club Cruising.” When it entered service, the ship was named simply: AIDA.

In 2001, with more AIDA ships on the way, AIDA changed her name to AIDAcara.
