The Carnival Valor is the third newbuild of the Conquest-class to enter service for Carnival Cruise Line.

She debuted on December 17, 2004 after being officially named in Miami, Florida. The journalist and author Katie Couric served as the ship’s godmother.

At 110,000 tons, she has capacity for over 2,900 guests at double occupancy and was built in Italy.
