Carnival Pride

The Carnival Pride is a cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. She was built in Finland, by the Kvaerner Masa-Yard of Helsinki.

A Spirit-class vessel, she debuted on December 12, 2001, with a series of cruises to Eastern and Western Caribbean ports from Port Canaveral, Florida.

A few weeks later, on January 7, 2002, the ship was christened by the American scientist and astronaut Tamara Jernigan. The ceremony took place at Port Canaveral.
