Carnival Fantasy

The Carnival Fantasy is the lead ship of Carnival Cruise Line’s Fantasy class. The oldest ship in the fleet, she entered service on March 1, 1990.

Built in Finland by the Kvaerner Masa-Yard shipyard, the vessel was christened by Tellervo Koivisto, wife of the then Finnish president Mauno Koivisto.

As the first of a series of eight sister ships, the Fantasy spent its inaugural season sailing to the Caribbean from the Port of Miami.
