Carnival Conquest

Built in 2002, the Carnival Conquest is the first ship of Carnival Cruise Line’s Conquest class.

Projected as a larger and improved version of the Destiny/Triumph-class, the Conquest class has five ships, including the Conquest. All were built by the Italian shipyard Fincantieri.

The ship was formally named on November 19, 2002 by the former US congresswoman Lindy Boggs.
