Carnival Extends Group Promotion Through September 30

Carnival Cruise Lines is extending its current group promotion through the end of September and also offering a longer window of sailing availability from which travel agents may book cruises using this special incentive.

With the promotion, attractive group rates are available on virtually all sailings departing between February 2014 and December 2014 (previously, this window was from December 2013 through May 2014).

In addition, Carnival is offering travel agents one free cruise berth for every 10 full fare guests berthed, versus the current policy of one free cruise berth for every 15 full fare guests berthed.

As part of the promotion, Carnival will continue to extend its Group Contact Center weekend hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the month of September.

“We heard such positive feedback from travel agents regarding our August group promotion that we decided to extend it for another month and increase the sailing window availability to give agents even more opportunities to take advantage of these excellent offers,” said Joni Rein, vice president of worldwide sales for Carnival Cruise Lines. “At our various Carnival Conversations events, travel agents have told us how important it is to have attractive group rates and strong incentives to drive their lucrative group business with Carnival and we wanted to respond to that with additional support in this area.”
