Silversea Adds British Flavor to Culinary Arts Voyages

Silversea Cruises will have the pleasure of welcoming two of Britain’s top culinary innovators to host two of its popular Culinary Arts voyages this year.

Jason Atherton, the Michelin-starred chef who owns restaurants in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai, will host an Asia cruise, Silver Shadow’s 9-day, Hong Kong-to-Singapore voyage (#3334) departing November 25, and renowned chocolatier Chantal Coady, founder of award-winning Rococo Chocolates, will host Silver Whisper’s 7-day Caribbean cruise (#4329) sailing November 8 roundtrip from Bridgetown, Barbados.

“We’re delighted to feature these two extremely talented individuals as hosts of our Culinary Arts enrichment program this year,” said Ellen Bettridge, Silversea’s president of the Americas. “We know our guests will enjoy the chance to sample their cooking and maybe learn a few culinary skills to try at home.”

On Silversea’s Culinary Arts voyages, celebrity chefs display their exceptional talents during dynamic and informative cooking demonstrations where guests can taste and learn first hand the secrets of enticing signature dishes.

These voyages also feature escorted provisioning trips to international markets (when the itinerary permits), food and wine pairings, creative regional dishes, and a five-course grand gourmet dinner. Throughout these special sailings, the featured guest chef and Silversea’s executive chef are on hand to share their culinary expertise and answer any questions.
