Tunisia Expects Slight Traffic Increase in 2013

Holland America in Tunisia (photo: Sergio Ferreira)Tunisia has scheduled calls by AIDA, MSC, Holland America and Norwegian Cruise Line for 2013, according to a spokesperson for La Goulette Cruise Terminal.

However, other lines, including Royal Caribbean International, were described as taking a wait-and-see attitude pending the political instability of the country and the region.

Norwegian, said to be calling in Tunisia for the first time, have scheduled three calls toward the end of the year, nine in 2014 and six in early 2015.

La Goulette expects approximately 600,000 passengers in 2013, up slightly from 582,601 in 2012.
