MICF Announces BB&T as Sponsor of Annual Spin-A-Thon

The Marine Industry Cares Foundation (MICF) is pleased to announce, BB&T, the official bank of Winterfest has partnered up to sponsor one of the lead bikes in this year’s Spin-A-Thon. The BB&T and Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade Bike (BB&T / Winterfest Parade Peddlers) will host Mayor Jack Seiler who is kicking off the event. BB&T is proud to support the community as a major sponsor of the 5th Annual Spin-A-Thon presented by Cruise Industry Charitable Foundation on Friday, April 19, 2013. This is the third year the event has been sanctioned by Winterfest.

The Spin-A-Thon is a fundraising benefit sponsored by the Cruise Industry Charitable Foundation, National Marine Suppliers, HCC Medical Insurance Services, and BB&T for the Foundation’s 2013 charitable beneficiaries, Kids In Distress (KID) and Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC). Both organizations are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local children and families who need their services. The six hour spinning bike event, followed by an after party will take place in the heart of the South Florida marine community, along the New River on Friday, April 19th, 2013 from 1p.m. to 7p.m. at Esplanade Park (400 SW 2nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301).
