Sartori & Berger Expands in Hamburg

German maritime services provider Sartori & Berger has announced that it is expanding its Hamburg office which will be responsible for all services to cruise vessels provided in the port. A new team comprising both experienced and newly employed staff has started working at the company’s Hamburg branch office as of Feb. 1.

“Hamburg is a very important German cruise hub and highly in demand among our clients,” said Simone Tommaso Maraschi, general manager and head of cruise services.

“Responding to this development we have decided to establish a new team locally in Hamburg. It consists of some long-standing and experienced port agents as well as a couple of new employees.”

The new team is based at the company’s Hamburg branch office in the city center and close to both cruise terminals. The team will coordinate all services, including port agency and passenger-related products (ground handling and shore excursions).

Having had an office in Hamburg for decades, Maraschi explained: “We now have a team dedicated exclusively to cruise ships.”
