PriceTravel, a online and wholesale travel agency in Mexico, has announced a new partnership with Carnival Cruise Lines to offer its more than 24 ships and all itineraries as an option to travelers booking via the PriceTravel website.

In July of 2012, PriceTravel became the only online travel agency in Latin America to allow customers to book cruises directly through as well as its many customer service centers in Mexico and Colombia.

Since then, the company has signed deals with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Club Cruises and MSC. The strategy is part of PriceTravel’s growth plans and conquest of the Latin American market.

"Working closely with a major cruise lines such as Carnival Cruise Lines not only helps us bring more products to our clients but appeal to broader group of travelers. Simultaneously, furthers our effort to change the notion of cruise travel as an unaffordable luxury. Presenting descriptive content simply and directly, combined with ease of payment and price comparison, is essential in shifting that perception,” said Oliver Reinhart, CEO of PriceTravel.

“PriceTravel and Carnival Cruise Lines’ partnership offers travelers the opportunity to book cruise vacations quickly and easily,” said Justin French, managing director of international sales at Carnival Cruise Lines. “Carnival Cruise Lines guarantees travelers the best vacation experience aboard its spectacular ships and to the many destinations offered.”
