MSC Revamps Online Tool for Agents

MSC Cruises knows that planning a cruise onboard one of the 12beautiful ships in its fleet is an integral and exciting part of the entire holiday experience. The company also knows that travel agents, with their expert guidance and professional knowledge, are important partners in promoting the special benefits an MSC cruise offers, as they understand that travel planning isn’t just about places, schedules and prices but that, most of all, it’s about people.

MSC Cruises has always supported travel agents by giving them all of the necessary tools to effectively explain the value, desirability and affordability of the cruise holiday experience.

Today, MSC Cruises is pleased to announce a series of enhancements to its online tool for travel agents which will significantly improve travel agents’ online purchasing experience by simplifying the search experience and bringing more relevant results to the top of the display screen.

The tool’s new features improve the browsing, search, selection and filter systems of fly and cruise packages, park and cruise post-paid packages, cruise itineraries, and cabin category options as well as MSC Cruises’ club members’ special privileges. Shore excursions available in each port of call will also be automatically displayed with a simple click, together with all other relevant information, including price.

The new online reservation tool is simple to use and extremely flexible.

Commenting on the new service, Corporate E-Commerce Manager Matteo Profumo said: “We are thrilled with the new enhancements of our online BtoB service and proud to announce that this is just the first of several steps towards a global revitalization of MSC’s online universe. I am sure our partner travel agents will appreciate it.”

The updated MSC Online reservation tool is now available worldwide. Travel agents can check it out at www.msconline.com.
