CSA-P: HNA to Launch Cruise Service in China with Ex-Pacific Sun

HNA Tourism, claiming to be the first local cruise company in China, will launch cruise service to serve its home market with Sanya and Tianjin included in its initial plan.

HNA has purchased the ex-Pacific Sun from P&O Australia, with 740 cabins. The ship will be renamed Henna and operate under HNA Tourism Cruises Yacht Management, according to reports.

Voyages are expected to start in 2013, after a refurbishment, which sources said is happening at Sembawang in Singapore. Homeports are reported to be Sanya and Tianjin.
