The third Black Sea Cruise Conference is scheduled to take place in Odessa Sept. 20 – 21. Describing itself as one of the few events dedicated to Black sea cruise tourism, the 2012 conference sees as its goal to revive and develop Black sea cruise destinations.

Representatives of the leading cruise operators, state authorities, municipalities and port administrations of the Ukraine, Bulgaria, Georgia, Russia, Romania, Turkey and Greece will participate.

The organizers are the Port of Odessa, MedCruise and the Port Association of the Black and Azov Seas.

The agenda covers: trends of the world cruise market; challenges and the prospects for Black Sea cruise destinations; overview of port and city infrastructure; regional investment opportunities; quality of shore services rendered to cruise tourists; presentation of shore products; and promotion of the region as a unified cruise destination on the international cruise market.
