According to sources, a Chinese group is set to sail a 100,000-ton newbuild in 2018. The group consists of Shan-Hai-Shu, Xiamen Shipbuilding and Xiamen International Cruise – Xiamen being a Royal Caribbean International port.

The investment is reported at just under 400 million euro, and Asia operation is set to begin with routes including Japan, Singapore and Korea in late 2018.
