In a new proposed new ruling (the first of its kind in 30 years), the FDA warns that, “Sunscreen alone will not protect you”. Dr. Douglas Throckmorton, deputy director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation Research, went on to say, “Sunscreen is only one part of a sun protection regimen”. He added that “consumers should limit their time in the sun, use sunscreen and wear protective clothing (UV Hats and UV Umbrellas).”
Summer may be over but the powerful and harmful UVA and UVB rays continue. Year-round sun protection is vital, Lynn Rose, founder and CEO of Soleil Chic — UB umbrellas and UV hats of Marina del Rey, California. “More than 1 million men and women will be diagnosed with skin cancer in the U.S. this year alone. Protecting yourself and your family – whether in the snow or in the South Pacific – is the key,” she added.
Soleil Chic UV Umbrellas are small, fold-up, lightweight and come in 2 sizes, 3 colors. They can be carried in a tote. Knock-out UV Hat flat can be carried flat.
Soleil Chic is endorsed by top doctors, including the noteworthy endorsement by Dr. Allan Metzger of UCLA, according to Rose.
Rose created this line of UV accessories after losing her husband to skin cancer. Her goal is to give great protection from the sun’s harmful rays – and great style. And, with the latest proposed ruling, Lynn’s products have just become even more relevant than before.
