Paul Gauguin Contract Awarded to Global Vessel Management

Global Vessel Management (GVM) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the ship management contracts for two vessels belonging to Paul Gauguin Cruises (PGC).

Global Vessel Management (GVM) is a joint venture between Wilhelmsen Ship Management, Niton Capital Partners and the Apollo Group was formed in late 2011 to offer complete management services for small to medium size cruise ship fleets.

Effective August 2012, GVM will be responsible for the technical management and supply of deck and engine personnel for m/s Paul Gauguin and m/v Tere Moana, the latter joining the Paul Gauguin Cruise fleet in October 2012.

These services will be provided by Wilhelmsen Ship Management of Norway, a partner in Global Vessel Management. Wilhelmsen Ship Management is part of Wilhelmsen Maritime Services, a Wilh. Wilhelmsen Group Company. It is one of the world’s largest providers of third-party ship management services.
