ALMACO Total Modernization Management Reaches a New Level

ALMACO Group has created a new service level to simplify modernization projects for ship owners around the world. The Group has recently complemented its Total Modernization Management service by concluding a partnership with the biggest Chinese ship repair yard Yiu Lian, situated at the west port of Shenzen. The partnership allows ALMACO to offer the Owner a complete turnkey modernization project.

ALMACO Total Modernization Management concept allows owners to handle a modernization project as if it were a new building project. The owner places one order that covers all aspects of the project. The project can be accomplished either as a fixed contract or as an open book project. The concept guarantees ship owners straightforward communication and project management as the project is handled by one group from planning to final execution. ALMACO guarantees efficient working processes and reliable quality by utilizing its mobile organization and worldwide supplier and partner network.

ALMACO offers a perfect combination of services and products by providing complete system solutions for Passenger ships’ hotel areas. “We are pioneers in providing ships’ Hotel Areas with the entire package, including spare parts and maintenance with highly sophisticated maintenance tools. There are usually hundreds of suppliers onboard when the ship leaves the new building yard. Why should the ship owner spend time and money communicating with all of them when they could do it all with only one system supplier?” asks Mikael Hedberg, Executive Vice President and COO of ALMACO Group.

By developing its services to better meet quality and cost requirements, ALMACO pays particular attention to its supplier and partner network.
