Allegra Update, Ship Arrives in Mahe

Costa Crociere has announced that the Allegra arrived in Mahe earlier today and all crew and passengers have disembarked.

The company reports all guests and crew are in good health.

Seventy percent of the 627 guests have accepted an offer to continue their vacation in the Seychelles on Costa, with one or two week options. The rest of the passengers will be return home on flights organized by Costa.

Costa is offering passengers a full refund of the cruise fare and associate travel expenses, a full refund of onboard expenses, “indemnity equivalent to the amount of the fare paid for the cruise and associated travel costs,” and for guests that are continuing their vacation in the Seychelles, a voucher for the same amount as the unfinished cruise, plus travel free of charge on any Costa ship within the next two months.
